..Transportation..

When I think of transportation in my country, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I noticed that we only have two kinds of transportation, which are cars and airplanes. I also perceived that each family owned at least two cars. Therefore, when I drive my car, I usually find many traffic jams and accidents; furthermore, your chance to be late will be high. Also, according to the statistics I found that 17 persons died every day because of traffic accidents, which made Saudi Arabia first in the world in traffic accidents. Moreover, one side effect of luck of diversity in transportation is that there will be no other choices to get to some place you want if you could not find a car or an airplane. In addition, another side effect is that you need to have enough money because you have to buy a car; thus, poor people usually can not have a car. On the other hand, when I moved to the United States of America, I see that there is diversity in transportation. As a result, you can get to any destination you want through several ways; you can use a car, a bike, a train, or you also can use a bus, in addition to airplanes. This diversity provides what works conveniently for you. Therefore, you do not need to be late or stuck with traffic jam. Also, having more than one kind of transportation allow is beneficial as everybody can use them. For instance, poor people who do not have money to buy a car can use the bus instead. In conclusion, I hope that next years we have diversity in transportation as what America has.

  1. Transportation in Saudi Arabia is so bad. Everyone depends on cars; and that is what creates the traffic problems. I like the way that Americans use in transportation riding bikes, metros, taxis, walking. Walking is almost not-existent in Saudi Arabia. Must of kids have cars there!! No wonder there are many accidents!!
