..Mishal's Coat of Arms..

AlGhamdi:
My family name is AlGhamdi, which means sheath of the sword. Both of my parents have the same family name, AlGhamdi. As a result, that is basically why I carry the AlGhamdi family name. Generally in my country, we always carry our fathers’ family name. Moreover, each tribe has its own hometown. For example, my hometown is AlBaha, which is the hometown of the AlGhamdi tribe. In addition, AlGhamdi is a strong tribe whose people are known for their hard work and love of education and business.

The Sea:
I have chosen the sea as something from nature that mostly expresses my attitude or feeling about life. As the sea known that it represents the depth, I usually meditate deeply over whatever things happened in my life. Also, inside the sea there are many treasures, which represent all great experiences I had tried. Furthermore, the strong waves can represent every bad thing that has happened in my life. Therefore, what I mentioned above can simply expound why I have chosen the sea to represents me.

Gold medal:
I still remember when I deserved a gold medal. It was a great feeling, and at the same time, it was a great accomplishment. The great accomplishment is that I achieved the first place in the chemistry Olympiad at the level of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Also, I achieved the second place in the Biology Olympiad. Thus, every time when I see the gold medal, I feel super great.

Falcon:
For many reasons, the falcon seems like the best animal that symbolizes my personality. The falcon always thinks before each movement that may he is going to do as what I always do. Also, the falcon finishes everything well as what I always try to done. In addition, the falcon gets whatever he wants as what I always try to do. Moreover, the falcon lives in the top like what I like to be in.

Earth:
Earth, our home planet, represents my future goal and my ambitions. I always think to do something that can change the life of mankind and all organisms in this planet. Therefore, one of my great ambitions is that I can get a chance to explore the universe and look over the earth. I always dream that is going to happen. However, nothing comes naturally. We always need to work hard in order to accomplish what we are dreaming or planning to do.

My Motto:
“Respect. You give it. You got it”. In my whole life, I always try to be respectful. Because whenever you give respect, you will, definitely, get it later on so. Giving respect is something huge which includes respecting opinions, wishes, abilities, talents, and so on. Thought giving respect is what we should do, some do not give it. Then those some, who do not give respect, ask for respect from others without giving, which is a kind of injustice.

  1. One thing I wanted to ask both you and Ali is whether you knew each other before SABIC. I know AlGhamdi is a large tribe, but I wonder if it's usual for people with the same last name to immediately have a "connection". If you met a stranger with the same last name, would you start up a conversation?

For sure, you should feel positive about your gold medals!

  2. Mr. Al-Ghamdi "Abu Allas"

I like the introduction and the basic way which you used to introduce your tribe to the readers. You drew lots of big pictures here. Like matching the sea with your experiences in life or choosing the golden medal to represent your accomplishments.

    Go Falcon!!
